350Z Engine Management System, Using the latest Motorola
56 MHz 32Bit Processor.
Ignition Output Drivers
The 350Z ECU is fitted with six (6) intelligent current
limited Ignition output drivers. The ignition drivers
can be used to drive both the factory and aftermarket
ignition systems.
Peak And Hold Injector Drivers
The 350Z ECU is equipped with 6 intelligent current
controlled injector drivers. Each injector is individually
monitored to give precise peak and hold current, allowing
accurate controlling of injector operation down to 0.5
Ohm’s.
Continuous Cam Control
The 350Z ECU allows the user to tune both the Intake
and Exhaust camshafts. Up to four camshafts can be independently
monitored and adjusted to the corresponding target tables.
Camshaft timing can be adjusted to 0.1 deg increments,
with both user definable axis channels and values, allowing
the user precise camshaft control as a standard feature.
Closed Loop Boost Control
There is no need for a stand alone boost controller,
the 350Z ECU has a built in closed loop unit as standard.
The controller allows the user to set a 3D target boost
tables and the ECU will do the rest.

User Definable Tunin Axis
All tuning tables have user definable axis. Axis can
be selected from over 50 available channels, giving
the user ultimate control. Once axis channels have been
selected, individual tuning axis points can be set,
with interpolated insert and delete functions available
on the fly.
On-Board Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor
An on-board Manifold pressure sensor is fitted to
the 350Z ECU. This sensor allows the user to tune via
speed density and even to remove the factory Air Flow
Meter. The 22 PSI rated MAP sensor can also be used
as part of the boost controller, allowing closed loop
operation.
USB Communications
USB compatibility is a standard feature on the 350Z,
making connection and tuning fast and easy.
RETAINS FACTORY FEATURES SUCH AS CRUISE & TRACTION
CONTROL SYSTEMS
Why take a step backwards when running aftermarket engine
management. The Haltech 350Z ECU retains all the factory
cruise and traction control systems.
Engine Knock Detection
Advanced engine knock detection circuitry is and can
be monitored for tuning safety. A knock threshold table
is also available to the tuner, allowing knock detection
to still be available to high horsepower engines.
Dual Bank Closed Loop O2 Controllers For Both Narrow
& Wide Band Sensors
The 350Z ECU has two closed loop o2 controllers, capable
of working with both the early narrow band o2 sensors,
as well as the late model wide band fitted vehicles.
The closed loop control allows constant mixture monitoring
as well as a 3D target table for the wideband equipped
models.
On-Board Data Logging
Up to 10 channels can be logged to the ECU’s internal
non volatile memory. Data logging activation is user
definable, with individual logging rates available per
channel. The data logger can be configured for short
drag races right through to long endurance races, with
all logged data viewable in our data log interpreter
software.
Copy Through For Fuel, Ignition & CAM Timing
The Haltech 350Z is the first ECU available that allows
the user the option of using the factory ECU’s fuel,
ignition and variable cam timing, while also having
the ability to take full control of these outputs. The
user can even select portions of a tuning table to leave
to the factory ECU, and only tune area’s that require
attention. This gives the user the ultimate in ease
and speed of tuning.
Plug-N-Play Loom
The 350Z ECU comes complete with a plug n play loom
that allows tuning in minutes. No more having to worry
about cutting or splicing wires, all the hard work has
been done. There are also extra inputs and output plugs
allowing further expansion of the 350Z ECU.

Windows Tuning Software (XP & Vista Compatible)
Haltech’s new ECU Manager Software gives allows the
user to tune the engine with ease while still being
able to monitor all engine parameters. The intuitive
interface is not only functional, but can be fully customized,
with all displays being user configurable. The ECU manager
also has selectable themes to change the overall appearance
of the software.
